Happy Canada Day and One Year Anniversary Whistler Club Crawl – July 01, 2010
Birthdays All Around!!
First of all, this Canada Day was no ordinary one for Whistler Club Crawl! In fact it was one year ago, that Whistler Club Crawl and Entertainment was created! I think that I, as well as many other people would like to congratulate Nick not only on the success of the business, and its rapid growth, but would also like to thank him, for the memories and crazy nights he has brought on to thousands of people visiting the Whistler community, whether they just moved here, was on a birthday/bachelor/bachelorette party, here for a vacation or, were a long time local Its has made the night for many of you to say the least! So thanks Nick and here’s to much success and great memories to come along in the future!
Canada Day Meet and Greet!
Oh Canada were we ever in the mood to celebrate Big on this one! It was our first Thursday Crawl in a long time, we had a smaller group to throw down for this crawl then normal, but I would say it was just as fun, and awesome to be able to get to know everyone on a better basis! We started the night off at Elephant & Castle, and once you were inside the staff went around including myself and introduced the clip game with a spin. see normally we have about 15-20 clothes pins which makes the game extremely aggressive but tonight we only had two. So to keep the game alive we put a 2 minute holding time on the clothes pins. Before you know it our belly’s were full and it was off to Cinnamon Bear for some games and fun!!
Crawlers cant Count
We got to the CB which is located within the Hilton, and geared up with a big bag of prizes. It was time to play some games and get them out. Do you know the highest point on Blackcomb via chairlift? or the day Whistler Blackcomb opened this year? Started off trying to play a game of Seven’s. Some reason after a few beers on Canada Day we seemed to be unable to count higher than seven. Next up the ever famous flip cup tournament where one year ago on this day the tradition began. All the teams went head to head but none were able to take over the champions, “Team Win”.
Beach Buckets of Alcohol are Dangerous
It seemed that as soon as we got to the next destination on the crawl, GLC, it was time to take the clip game to the next level! Even the ever so experienced staff members were absent minded enough to get themselves beach pales filled with booze, and weren’t even going to watch there backs. Oops… they to were victims of the clip Game! But before the clips it was time for us to celebrate with you our birthday as Whistler Club Crawl… everyone loves cupcakes!!! Sweets and drinks go out so well together, that time was lost when I called out to head to the next venue!
Limboooooo
That’s right, the next stop was Savage Beagle! When we got there, one of my favorite DJ’s. DJ R3 was spinning the beats and put everyone straight into party mood as soon as we all got there, and even though there weren’t all that many of us there, the dance floor was immediately packed. Soon after we got the limbo competition off to a great start!
Wolfgang! VS Zero! Garfinkles!!
Finally, with a close-nit group of partiers, it was time to rock over to the final venue on the Club Crawl, but also the very anticipated event! Wolfgang Gartner was on as the nights big event, and W O W, what an amazing performance. Opening for him, DJ VS Zero put the crowd in the perfect mood with his unreal set, and clearing the road for Wolfgang to complete the night! From what I can remember it was one amazing night! Thank you all for coming! Thank – you Club Crawl for an amazing year, and night, Im sure I stand for many when I say we are looking for the years to come!
