Whistler Club Crawl

Sexy Sized Crawl

Last Crawl was an other big one, again, 130 people ! BAM ! We love it !
The mix of a stag, 2 stagettes and a couple of birthday partiers & honeymooners is an explosive combination.
You gotta see the photos…

I always show up in advance at Elephant and Castle Pub, the first venue of the crawl. We make sure we will be ready to sign the group in. Last Saturday a group of 6 were already  sitting at a table drinking a beer at like 5pm. Normally I warn people to not drink before a crawl so they can follow the crawl till the end of the night. But I still like this, pre-chilling before the massive chilling, I’ll say Chillax!

Name Tags

Ok, I know it can seem cheesy to wear a name tag, but you have to do it. We meet so many people on a crawl and it’s the great time to be whoever you want, like « insert name », « Joe Dirt », « Horny » or even « Room 218 » the sky is the limit on a crawl! That help to break the ice for you, shyness !

Ayo My Quality Control, Captivates Your Party Patrol.

So yeah, one of  my task to prepare the crawl is to do the Quality control, I love this part. Chicken nachos, excellent, but the « B52 » shot we offer as the first drink was amazzzzing ! What’s better in life than Bailey’s, Kahlua, Frangelico and Amaretto all togheter !? I saw some lady having a blast with it ! A real cream show !

Nick Florian on the Mic

I call him Flo. This guy is a natural leader ! He took the mic just like he was a T.V. Host… You must have a magic voice, Flo. I’ve never seen the ladys giving her on the floor and on the pole like this! Even this guy took off his shirt for you! Great show, again!

So Savage

Everyone ask me for more then one drink ticket at this point! Dude! Go downstair, rock the limbo competition and you gotta deserve the extra one! This is how we roll on a crawl!

You Skip the Line, You’re a Big Deal

From now until the rest of the summer, it’s a big deal to bypass the line up at Garf’s on a Saturday night. Its was amazing to see 130 party people getting in priority style and go crazy on the dance floor. Really the club crawl bring a good vibe ! I hope you enjoyed the night and come back on a crawl!

I’ll see you soon !

Whistler Pub Crawl

Cant Beat Me at Foosball!!!

We had it all!! This Saturday was an awesome summer night and a great way for all you birthday, bachelor and bachelorette parties to kick off the night!!! We like to meet up nice and early around dinner time, to do the meet and greet! Jay, Evelyn, Jory, Flo and myself went around and introduced ourselves to all you guys! You all came in so fast and there were so many of you that we didn’t get to give you your name tags as we got you all signed up, so I went around with a marker and a stack of hello my name is cards, and got you all going with your new identities (some of you chose to keep your real ones, right Chuck Norris?) After you were all geared up, a few of us teamed up and did out a few battles on the Foosball table.

Tommy’s!! Where Buffalo Runs Wild ;)

We were all having a lot of fun getting to know each other, but it was time to head over to the next venue! Tommy Africa’s is where we turn up the volume for some awesome games, dancing and of course, drinking! Evelyn hooks you guys up with your drink ticket at the door, then you all head in and grab a drink, just in time for me to tell you that you have to hold your drink in your left hand only!!! Welcome to buffalo club (slightly modified) where the drinks keep going down the hatch!! Not only did we put in play some crazy rules, we played Flip Cup, had a crazy dance competition with break, swing, old school, pop, and just plain enthusiasm as well as a sexy pole dance competition! Every one was having so much fun, I don’t think anyone even got to look at there watches before we were making the last call, Club Crawl is moving on!!

Savage Beagle!!

What more will put smiles on your faces other then no line and no cover when you head into Savage Beagle, you guys get another drink ticket. We all headed downstairs where Flo was already rounding up the troops to begin another awesome Limbo challenge!! Most of your ears perked up when you learned that there were drinks and prizes at stake for the contest, which made it a very big and long challenge!! Some how the music seemed to be a little bit of a fiesta theme, which a few of you were saying totally made the game!

Finishing the night!!! Garfinkles!!

We all left Savage Beagle and headed over to Whistlers top venue, Garfs! Its always a good feeling when you rock up to a bar, and see 40 people standing outside waiting to get in, and then you just get to rock right by the line, your cover is already taken care of, and then you get hooked up with two drink tickets! Life was good, and most of you were feeling VERY good! Nothing else makes us more stoked!! It was full on party time, and with VIP access at 3 of the night clubs, everyone ventured off to do there thing or kill the rest of the night away at Garfinkles!!

Thanks for another sick one guys!! Feel free to come again, and always check out the facebook page or the website to makesure you know about all the events Whistler Club Crawl has going on!!

July 15, 2010 Whistler Club Crawl “I have a Koala as a pet”

Big Crawl

Lets Get it Started!!

Back to it with another thursday crawl, this was one entertaining night!! We started the evening off at elephant and castle, all got together, and because it was a smaller group, got to know each other very well and very fast!! Im pretty sure that there were enough cloths pins going around that everyone had there own, which brought the game to new levels. After some beers, drinks and always delicious chicken nachos, it was time to head off to the next venue!!

Off to the GLC!

When we got to GLC, they were setting up some live music, so we got to catch a little bit of that while we were there :) It was time to spice the night up a little bit, so I introduced a new game to the night… buffalo club!! Only being able to drink out of your left hand or hold drinks in your left hand proved to be more difficult then thought!! One of our guests for the evening, Brooke, was at first appalled by the idea of the game… but next thing I knew, she was literally running around the place trying to catch people!! It was priceless :)

CB?? I think So!

Cinnamon Bear is one of Whistlers locals favourite spots to chill after a long day! Most of the crew was well on there way by the time we got here, which made the night nothing but entertaining!! We had one hell of a flip cup tournament, where the team names were getting nothing but blunt and interesting…. from some of the earlier crawls and there normal ” Aussies” or “Islanders” names to the now profound names, that who knows how you crazy crawlers ever come up with these things!!! After the tourny, i hit the pool able up with some of you, and chilled for a bit before it was time to head to the next venue!!

Savage… Sing us a song Brooke!

” Kroiky!!! A Dingoooo ate my baby!!!…. Hey hey you!! I have a Koala as my pet!!! PUB CRAWL.. er .. wait CLUB CRAWLLL”  hahah oh Brooke, one hell of a girl you are! I have video footage that i will edit after and put up, if any of you missed her awesome advertising and attempt at being Australian!! It was Beagle time!! Jory got some sick photos as Tyler and myself worked up an awesome round of Limbo. After that we did some Birthday Ski shots, which for two of the girls ended up being more on there faces then in their mouthes, takes practice to get it right ;)

Garfinkles!!! Skate Jam!

Skate Jam is back at Garfinkles, and setting the night off right. This was the final venue on the crawl, and when we all got in, te staff were right there ready to party with you!! I can say that it was an amazing night and so much fun, Jory partied with me for the night and so did most of you crawlers!!! Thanks for making it another epic one!!!

Love ya guys

xx pce Tash

July 10th Whistler Club Crawl… Its MY Birthday :D

July 10, 2010 Pub Crawl

And It Begins…

Alright, so this night was a bit of a big one for me, you will have to excuse me for.. well, many of the details are very very blurry in my mind :D I got to Elephant & Castle a little bit late, but when I got there, it was packed with a hundred of you crawlers… and it was game on… party time.  I went around and told most of you that I am half working and made sure you all knew the clothes pin game. The rest of the staff were on it, It was more like I walked into World War 3 – Battle of the Clothes Pins!! (too corny?) I got myself a partner and started into an intense Foosball match, which I didn’t win, but oh well!! Next up, it was time to indulge in some chicken Nachos, and some shots with you crawlers!

Return of the MEGA-PHONE

Once upon a time, we had a lovely megaphone, created to save voices, lungs,  and dictate you crawlers on our nightly events. It was a great part of our staff and held great sentimental value. One busy crawl sometime in march, the Mega-phone took ill and died shortly after. Voices soon got scratchy, and lungs wheezy with out the aid of the megaphone (particularly mine) and pleas for a new mega phone were loud(again particularly mine). Now four months later, on my birthday, nothing made me more happy, then to see the return of the megaphone to the crawl, we love you mega phone!!!

Tommys!!!

We got an awesome group photo at Elephant, and then headed off to my favorite spot in Whistler, Tommy Africa’s!!! Always playing some of my favorite music, Tommy’s always sets the mood right into full on party mode, and for that reason is why things are going to start getting blurry for me!! We got straight to an epic tourny of Flip cup, as well as the worst (meaning I lost to many times) game of buffalo club!!!!I remember.. or more so was told by Jeff, that the majority of the visit was lost in yelps of “BUFFFFALLLOOOOOOOO” both, by me and towards me!

Savage!!

You always have so much fun at Tommy’s, you always seem to lose track of the time, and before you know it, it is time to head over to the next venue :) Savage Beagle is Whistlers only Lounge and Bar!! Here we take part in a Fiesta, we did Birthday Shot Skis, and venturous limbo contests!! tons of prizes were given away!! Then it was time to dance, we always give out prizes on the crawl for those of you who dance with great enthusiasm ;) After more acclaimed clips and buffalos, it was time to move the crawl over to then last venue on the crawl…. Garfinkels!

Garfs!! The end? NOPE!!

Well the final stop on the crawl, time to let loose for those of you who haven’t already, as for me, I was sending it!! Thanks to every one for the awesome night!!! Who thought that you could have such a great birthday, spent with 130 people you dont know!! Just another reason why I love my job so much! And from here it was lights out for me… let me know if you can fill in the blanks :P

Whistler Club Crawls- Saturday July 3rd 2010!!

Pub Crawl in Whistler

Its Year 2 Now!

As it was the Canada Day, and American Independence Day long weekend, it was a big one for Whistler Club Crawl! This Saturday we started the night off at Elephant & Castle. After you were all signed in and ready to go we sent you to the bar to grab a shot with us, and start the night off right. Jory went around snapping some before photos… with the after pictures soon to come ;) and the rest of the staff went around and introduced themselves to all of you as well. Shortly after it was time to go around with the cheesy chicken Nachos! We mowed them down then headed outside to take a big group photo… then off to Tommys!!

On and Poppin’

Tommy Africa’s just has a way of getting everyone all riled up into the party spirit! We got inside and headed to the bar to grab a drink, them most of us made our way to the dance floor! I introduced another game to the night, the buffalo club. where if you see anyone holding there drink in there right hand… tell that person to chug it down! Im pretty sure this turned have the crawlers into investigators cause every minute you could hear “jug jug jug jug!!” We then had our pole dance competition…. and if not stopped, im pretty sure that a few of you woulda bared all!! Finish the drinks… its off to the next stop!!

Savage Beagle

Welcome to the more ritzy lounge and night club of Whistler! Savage Beagle means Limbo time with Whistler Club Crawl! So it was time to make these crawlers get low! After an intense limbo challenge, its always time for dancing, so everyone sent it under the disco ball. We were giving away prizes and swag, always looking for those energetic and enthusiastic people which this crawl was far from short of!

Garfinkels!! Last Stop!!

The final stop on the Crawl, Whistlers number one night club! Garfinkels! We get you in fast, and then we got you two drink tickets!! Off to the bar! Time for all of us staff to let loose with you guys and that we did! From learning to dance like a Brazilian to shots, to loss of memory for the most of it! Times like this, I just love my job! Thanks for coming out everyone, club crawl isnt possible with out you, you guys rock!

Happy Canada Day and One Year Anniversary Whistler Club Crawl – July 01, 2010

Scott Mitchell

Birthdays All Around!!

First of all, this Canada Day was no ordinary one for Whistler Club Crawl! In fact it was one year ago, that Whistler Club Crawl and Entertainment was created! I think that I, as well as many other people would like to congratulate Nick not only on the success of the business, and its rapid growth, but would also like to thank him, for the memories and crazy nights he has brought on to thousands of people visiting the Whistler community, whether they just moved here, was on a birthday/bachelor/bachelorette party, here for a vacation or, were a long time local Its has made the night for many of you to say the least! So thanks Nick and here’s to much success and great memories to come along in the future!

Canada Day Meet and Greet!

Oh Canada were we ever in the mood to celebrate Big on this one! It was our first Thursday Crawl in a long time, we had a smaller group to throw down for this crawl then normal, but I would say it was just as fun, and awesome to be able to get to know everyone on a better basis! We started the night off at Elephant & Castle, and once you were inside the staff went around including myself and introduced the clip game with a spin. see normally we have about 15-20 clothes pins which makes the game extremely aggressive but tonight we only had two. So to keep the game alive we put a 2 minute holding time on the clothes pins. Before you know it our belly’s were full and it was off to Cinnamon Bear for some games and fun!!

Crawlers cant Count

We got to the CB which is located within the Hilton, and geared up with a big bag of prizes. It was time to play some games and get them out. Do you know the highest point on Blackcomb via chairlift? or the day Whistler Blackcomb opened this year? Started off trying to play a game of Seven’s. Some reason after a few beers on Canada Day we seemed to be unable to count higher than seven. Next up the ever famous flip cup tournament where one year ago on this day the tradition began. All the teams went head to head but none were able to take over the champions, “Team Win”.

Beach Buckets of Alcohol are Dangerous

It seemed that as soon as we got to the next destination on the crawl, GLC, it was time to take the clip game to the next level! Even the ever so experienced staff members were absent minded enough to get themselves beach pales filled with booze, and weren’t even going to watch there backs. Oops… they to were victims of the clip Game! But before the clips it was time for us to celebrate with you our birthday as Whistler Club Crawl… everyone loves cupcakes!!! Sweets and drinks go out so well together, that time was lost when I called out to head to the next venue!

Limboooooo

That’s right, the next stop was Savage Beagle! When we got there, one of my favorite DJ’s. DJ R3 was spinning the beats and put everyone straight into party mood as soon as we all got there, and even though there weren’t all that many of us there, the dance floor was immediately packed. Soon after we got the limbo competition off to a great start!

Wolfgang! VS Zero! Garfinkles!!

Finally, with a close-nit group of partiers, it was time to rock over to the final venue on the Club Crawl, but also the very anticipated event! Wolfgang Gartner was on as the nights big event, and W O W, what an amazing performance. Opening for him, DJ VS Zero put the crowd in the perfect mood with his unreal set, and clearing the road for Wolfgang to complete the night! From what I can remember it was one amazing night! Thank you all for coming! Thank – you Club Crawl for an amazing year, and night, Im sure I stand for many when I say we are looking for the years to come!

Saturday June 26th- Whistler Club Crawl

Whistler Club Crawl - Big Crawl

Elephant was Packed!!!!

130 people on a club crawl is with out a doubt, hands down, quite the party! We got started this week at Elephant & Castle! We got you all to fill out your waivers, and begin a night you wont soon forget!! I went around as well as the other staff members and introduced ourselves as well as the clothes pin game we like to play on the crawl… and if I might add… turned into mayhem!! I don’t believe anyone had a pin on them for more then a minute before they were out to get their revenge on another crawler! Chicken Nachos were everywhere and so tasty, everyone had more then there stomachs could handle. We were right prepared to begin the night of crazy partying!!

Tommy Africas!

Pump pump, pump pump it up, was for sure the saying of the evening, and it played well into the character names of the night as well! When we arrived at Tommy Africa’s we get you another drink ticket and then, once you all had your drinks we start a game called the buffalo club. For those of you who don’t know what the buffalo club is, it is a game where you must hold your drink in the hand that I describe. Before you knew it it was time to get started on our traditional flip cup championship tournament! This is where we get you to make teams of six and come up to us with the team name, then go head-to-head in the flip cup battle against the other teams! When the pitchers of beer where done it was time to move onto the next event, the dance competition we got you all to circle up on the Tommy Africa’s dance floor and bring to the for your best moves and most enthusiasm :) We had tons of prizes and swag to give away to those who are participating. We also had an eventful pole dancing competition where three volunteers who had no idea what they were volunteering for were put up to the test to see what kind of sexy moves they could bring to the contest! Always laughs and good times at Tommy’s!

Beagle Time!

Next up on the Crawl is Savage Beagle!! When we get there, again no line and no cover, just straight to the partying!!! We get you another drink ticket, after you’ve got your drink in your hand, we like to get started on what I like to call a Whistler fiesta!! In translation, this means limbo time! A contest where the top three participants win prizes in another head-to-head battle of how low can you go. After watching the finalists contort their bodies to be crowned Champ, the dance floor filled with all 130 of you and the rest of the time at Savage Beagle was spent dancing and dancing even when it was time to go everyone was still dancing, which is what we always like to see on Whistler Club Crawls!

The End!

Like a chick flocking from its nest for the first time, when we get to Garfinkles, as much as it saddens us, we set you free to continue on your evening of random craziness, and can only hope we have geared you up right! When you meet us inside of Garfs, we set you up with two drink tickets!! Once you have gobbled those down, your welcome to hang around longer at Garfs, or head back to any of the other venues on the crawl… still VIP! I hope you all had as much fun as I did, and enjoyed your night! Make sure if your free on a Thursday or Saturday night in Whistler again, definitely hit us up!!

Saturday June 19th Party Crawl

Big Club Crawl

Welcome to the Party

We all met at Elephant & Castle this week for our regular sign up, with dinner and drinks. I would have to say this was the craziest sign up I have seen. All of you came right between 6-630, no stragglers and… there was 120 of you guys!!!! It was for sure going to be one hell of a night! We had tons of my favorite chicken nachos do the rounds and the staff went around and introduced themselves to all of you as well as some of the little games that we play through out the night as well! Before not to long, we were on our way to the next stop on Whistler Club Crawl!

Shall we Dance?

My favorite crawls are the ones where I walk into Tommy Africa’s after you have all got in, and the dance floor is already full!! You know its going to be a fun night when the atmosphere is already there. I introduced the buffalo club game, and caught a few of you wrong handed right off the bat! Next up was our Flip Cup tournament!! We get you guys to get together teams of 6 and battle head to head with the other team. Winners Stay on!! Teams were quickly conquered this week, and fresh teams were always joining! Then.. just when you think you have scene it all! One man on his very own, got his own beer, and said he wanted to singly challenge the next winning team on his own. The team took him up on his offer, though his confidence was rather striking, and we started a Club Crawl first ever! Im sure you were expecting to hear that he took them all on and wiped them clean off the table with his skills, how ever this was not the case at all. By the time the winning team had flipped there last cup, our good friend was cheating for one and only on his second cup! The dance competition was awesome, full of enthusiasm and some pretty fresh moves! We gave out some prizes and then the floor just filled right up again!

Limbo Time!

It was time for the Crawl to move on to the next venue! A few more of you joined us here and just in time for the awesome Limbo Challenge! A shear test of how low can you go! Nick and Tyler got the limbo off to an awesome start, top three win a prize and get crowned our champions. After that the awesome DJ R3 was there spinning some awesome tunes for us, he came in on his own time to give us some good dancing beats :) so a thanks to him!!!

HE’S BACK…. JAGER BOMB GUY!

Alright alright, after all the fun, it was time to head to the final venue on Whistler Club Crawl! Time to head on over to Garfinkles, Whistlers top night club! its always packed when we get there, so most people choose to end there night there, as well as us staff! The gloves come off and its party time!!
But wait!!! Back in the winter we had a crawl with a guy who later became known as the Jager Bomb Guy, here is a little history on how he became:

You have to hear this… Allow me to retort.

So I first meet this guy at the first venue. He’s like “Oh my god this drink is so expensive!”, So I asked, “Well what did you buy?”
“A triple Crown and Coke!!!” Well no wonder…

Then I didn’t this guy til Savage Beagle. He comes up to me and he’s like:
“Oh my god! This crawl is awesome I’ve spent $200 tonight!”
I say, “Hey dude maybe you should take it easy! It looks like you’ve had a few!”
“No way, I’ve got to party”
He runs away, downstairs.

So I proceed to talk to a few guys from Long Beach and then I see this guy come back, just a few minutes later.

“OH MY GOD! I’ve spent $300 so far!”

I’m say “Dude, take it easy!”
“No way. I’ve just been buying people Jager Bombs. F***king Jager Bombs! [to the bartender] Give me 4 Jager Bombs! [he looks at me] let’s do a Jager Bomb.”

“no, no, no…” Well, then I started taking a video of this guy. You can see it below.

The next time I see this guy he comes up to me and he says: “I’ve spent $700 tonight”

next time;

“I’ve spent $800 tonight!!!”

next time;

“I’ve spent my whole paycheck tonight! And I’m still sober!”

He wasn’t sober. But for the amount this guy threw back, he was doing pretty good. I was impressed. He was composed. Good for him. Then he gets his hands on one more beer and I toast him and thank him for coming tonight. He clinks my glass and screams “CHUG!”

I could only laugh. Ah, what a character. He then ran off and danced the night away. Good lad. – Nick

So when we got to Garfinkles, we saw him again, and what did he do?  Bought us all a round of Jager bombs of course!!! Best part is, I dont think he realizes his fame with us! All in all it was an awesome night!! Thank you to every one who came out and partied with us, tons of you from Vancouver!

Until Next Crawl…
