Whistler Club Crawl – September 18th 2010

Pole Dancing Club Crawl

Put Your Hands Up in the Air!

As we close on the last couple days of the summer in 2010, Whistler Club Crawl through down one last summer bash before heading into the fall season of partying!! We met up at Elephant & Castle when I recognized a few familiar faces from the crawls before:) Always awesome seeing you guys come back for round two! Flo and I went around explaining to you the rules of the Clothes Pin Game! Aaron was our photo man tonight and went around snapping some sweet pics of you guys, while Evelyn was her busy self signing you all in. Once we were all there and ate some food, we headed to the front… through our hands up in the air for a group photo and it off to Tommy Africas!

Get Ready To Get ____!!!

Crazy you all are… just crazy! I don’t think I have ever met guys that can chant Tits out for the guys, Tits out for the guys… and have so many girls respond, Whistler Club Crawl has its own girls gone wild now :D
To get the night going a little bit more, we started to play a new game as well as our other. Buffalo club is a real headache for most. You have to keep your drink in your left hand at all times, which you become absent minded of after the first 10 min of the game has gone by. Shortly after that, Flo and i kicked off the Flip Cup tournament that we host every week, then we took it to the dance floor for an amazing dance off and pole dance competition. We had an awesome local family on the crawl, and made the birthday girl take a go at the pole and she gave it!! So awesome guys!

On to the next one..

Savage time was crazy time!!! We all grabbed drinks and made way to the D floor for an amazing Limbo throw down, where this week it was the girls that were getting low! Evelyn and myself were setting the height and turning the game up!! We had a repeat champion from a previous crawl… way to go girl :) After some limbo fun, the dance party was turned on and most of us lost track of time.

Saturday Night Hype

Its always sad seeing a crawl go on there own, but Garfinkles is the last stop on the club crawl and always a good one. As the number one nightclub in whistler, you know that on a Saturday night your gonna have a sweet time! Most of you stayed and partied at Garfs, a few of you wondered off to some of the bars we were at earlier in the night. Hope you all had a blast and we hope to see you soon! Thanks for coming guys and if you wanna come again feel free to get your tickets online, we have been selling out all the time!!

Letter to the Editor of the Pique News Mag in Whistler

I thought I would share this, as it seems ridiculous. This popped up in the Pique today. I encourage you to read it. As we are the only organized crawl in Whistler, I take this as a personal attack. I’m encouraged to see your thoughts… Please comment below.

Safer in Manhattan

As snowbirds wintering in Hawaii, my spouse and I have been nesting in Whistler during the spring-summer season since 2006.

Since then, we have observed a significant degradation of the social tissue and the late night stabbings of Aug. 14 do not surprise us, as they are consistent with this unfortunate by-product of the “Pub Crawling” approach to marketing in Whistler.

Whistlerites should know we feel safer in Manhattan than Whistler, where we avoid going out at night as we feel unsafe because of the substance abuse practiced openly by a crowd we don’t want to have anything to do with.

This degradation has reached a point where it is spilling over in the Upper Village after bar closing.

I do not wish to argue with Brenton Smith, but Whistlerites should know that, like many other tourist and summer residents who have come to Whistler, been alienated and gone, we have come to Whistler and are now making plans to move to Vancouver’s West End in an attempt to bring back sanity to our lives.

In our view, Whistlerites really need to look at reality straight in its face; the village is becoming a ghetto and “Pub Crawling” is very much part of the problem.

We praise A.R. Symons for speaking out on this issue.

September 11, 2010 Crawl

Back a smaller size crawl! The low season really affected the size of our Club Crawl, But not the energy on it that’s for sure! 80 people all dolled up on a Saturday night in Whistler do it well!

First, thanks to Loren & Tyler! These guys are locals regulars crawlers, they met on a crawl a year ago and now they are a such of a cute & funky couple! They got all their crew from Squamish on the party, and we know how party animal they are! They won at lease 3 round of the flip cup tournament , I saw them on the speakers dancing, sweating their life on the awesome mix of the manager of Tommy Africas, Jeff the big Cockle. Solid guys!

Flo, one our crawl leader veterans, was back after 3 weeks of vacation in Europe! We call him pretty boy you know why!? There is always a crew of girls telling me how hot he is! Well he must be cause when he rock the mic, he got those ladies to freak on the pole even if they want to! Bam! Good job Flo, I’m glad you’re back!

We had such a blast outside Savage beagle with this group of 5 dudes so rowdy . I never saw a guy yelling all his excitement for the bottle service he would get later at Garf! Fun times!

See ya next week!

Sunday September 5th- Whistler Club Crawl

Can you handle 2 nights in a row?

Its Labor Day long weekend, and in regards to that, Whistler Club Crawl is doing a double Header!! That’s right, Sunday was the second crawl we did this weekend, and I was quite impressed to see a pretty big number of you make it your second night in a row partying with us. So for those of you that were experiencing your first crawl with us, it was time to meet for dinner and drinks at Elephant & Castle.  After that we all made our way outside and got the Group photo done, no rain tonight, and headed off to Tommy Africas!

Olaaaa ola ola olaa…

No sooner did I have my foot in the door, 3 groups of you came up and told me that they wanted to play flip cup, and wanted to make sure they got a chance to play. Saturday Nights champions were among that group… so to make it a fair chance for everyone, we gave them the handicap of an extra player. When that didn’t work, we made them add a girl to their team. Still didn’t work until they met their match from the night before… the Stiffys!! Team Steiner and Stiffy were head to head I death matches and finally met their fate. The game was a lot of fun, but it was time to head to the dance floor. We had a pretty awesome dance off, kicked of with a little bit of break dancing from a crawler, p-nut, then turned into less of a contest and more of a mosh pit. The night had only just began and it already felt like everyone knew everyone right away!

Switching it Up!

Normally we end the night at Garfinkles, but because of an event they were having, we made Garfs the third venue of the night!! We all hung out by the booths or on the dance floor when we got into the club. I went around and sat with a few of you guys and got some good games going to keep things interesting. We had the shot ski going around, loading it up with shots and having people partake in a whistler drinking tradition. Although sometimes its not so much drinking as much as it is wearing the booze, but its all in fun… right?!!? :D

A New End

So the time went by fast, but it was time to head to the last venue on the crawl, and the last stop on the Labor Day Long weekend Bender for most people. We were off to Savage Beagle to finish the night off. Ending with two drinks when you get inside the bar with us, and we set you free to cause all your own mayhem nowJ I went downstairs in hopes to get a game of Limbo off to a start, but no sooner did I grab the limbo pole, that it was snatched by you guys and the game was started all on its own.  So whether you were with us celebrating a birthday, a holiday, the first time you have been in a club or sending your best friend off before marriage, I hope you all had an amazing night!!

Saturday September 4th, Whistler Club Crawl

Labor-Day Long Weekend!!

Well we all know what you do on a long weekend!! More so we all no what you do on the last weekend till it is time to head back to the grind, hit the books and watch those leaves change color. Summer is ending and what better way to celebrate then a double header Club Crawl weekend Easily reaching 200 people or more we knew that we were in for a big one.  We all met up for a drink and some food at Elephant and Castle. Then, the worst thing happened… MEGAPHONE DOWN…. Again! The megaphone is a lifeline for us staff, shepherd needs his staff, we really do need our megaphone!! Worst part is it was broken for about 3 months and has only been back to us for 3 months! Oh well time to burst the lungs out and hope for the best:)

Just a Reminder…

Group photos are a tradition for us to do with the crawls, but never has it been so difficult to convince you guys to smile… maybe it was the first rain drops we have seen in a few weeks, just another reminder that fall and winter are just around the corner. So in consideration to the girls with there hair curled and the boys gelled out… we skipped the photo and headed straight to Tommys!

Tommy’s meets the Shore

Well I thought I would never see the day where Jersey shores came to the Mountains but Club Crawl had its own Dj Pauly D, The Situation, and the worst part.. I was declared Snookie!!!!!!!!!!! The dance floor at Tommy Africas was filled as soon as I made my way in… and had seen enough fist pumping to last a decade! But all is good and fun time to get the night off. Flip Cup was extremely popular… we had to stop more so because we ran out of time more then anything else! Team Stiener took the Win as the undefeated team for 8 Rounds!! I’m sorry if you were wanting to play and we didn’t make it to you in time… hopefully you got a chance to rip it up at our dance competition!

Off to the Beagle!!

Our time at beagle was a little bit shorter then usual, we lost track of time at tommys so had to cut down at Beagle. We still all had plenty of time to get in have a few drinks, get low for limbo,  and dance the rest of the time away!

The End is Near

Garfinkles is one of the best bars in whistler! When we got to bypass the line and get in before 100 other people, and fill the bar up it was pretty sweet! You all got in with two drink tickets, and the rest of the night ahead of you. Party on crawlers, but I have one question for you ……. Who is ready for round two?

Saturday August 28th – Whistler Club Crawl

Bada-Bing-Bada-Boom

Wow, the crawls are getting bigger and bigger every weekend, or so it seems. This week we got you all to meet us at the Elephant and Castle, where we enjoyed some tasty Chicken Nachos, and Finger lickin’ wings. (may have taken that line from a kfc ad) Armed with Bachelors, bachelorettes and birthdays we were ready to make club crawl history!!

This is no Rodeo

Bulls are drawn in and raged by the color red, ready to charge their target; crawlers seem to have the same reaction to our red staff sweaters. We are giant targets that you all aim to get by the end of the night. With either our clothes pins or buffalo club, being the two games we play during the duration of the crawl, I was scared to hold a drink in thought that it would no sooner reach my hands, and I would have to chug it down. That said, when we got to Tommy Africas, we had to raise the intensity. It was time to hunt you all down… making sure that we could include all of you in our festive games!! We had our legendary Flip cup tournament then off to the Dance floor we went!

Cha Cha Cha

It’s always so hard to leave Tommy’s, but we got to remember that the night has only just began… Time for a little bit of Savage Beagle! Once we got you all in and headed downstairs, Beagle cranked the volume up and we got started on our Limbo Fiesta!!  Always entertaining to watch people twist their bodies and wobble under the limbo stick… usually, drink in hand.

The Night is Young!

Its 10:15.. and your drunk! Time to move this crawl on to the final Venue…. Grafinkles!! Ending the night at Whistlers voted top Night Club, is always gonna make your night. With all of us ready to head in, we grabbed our TWO drink tickets and made our way down stairs. Drink in hand its time to let loose and hit the D-Floor. Partying makes perfect, the night is young! Hope you all had as good of a time as I did.

Thanks to the staff and crawlers, we will see you all next week!
