Whistler Club Crawl – August 21st

On Your Marks…Get Set…

Well all that sunshine had to take a break for a little while, it was sprinkling with rain a little bit before the crawl, but let up just in time for you all to arrive to Elephant & Castle. Signed up and drinks in hand, it was time to mingle, and there were 170 of you to do it with. Getting to know each other was made easy with our clothes pin game we play on the crawls, as well as the giant inflated penis that was also a member of the club crawl this week. I could tell from the beginning that this was going to be one big night for the crawl!!

Make Some Noise!!

It started to drizzle a little bit on the way to Tommy Africas, but we missed the rain just in time to get into the club. All you could see was the inflatable floating around the dance floor with its bachelorette party (Tess, the bride to be, would like to mention that all her ladies are single) that it was the perfect time to explain the second party rule on the Club Crawl, Buffalo Club! No drinking out of your right hand!! Yet no one seems to listen to the rule, because I made about 4 laps of the bar and got maybe 12 of you right handed! After that we went and began our Flip Cup Championship, we buy the beer, you guys drink it!! Sounds like a pretty sweet deal right? Well we had one team go 6-0 before being defeated by the lovely ladies of Tess’s bachelor party!! One we were done the game and named the nights champions, there was a second challenge that was brought to the table. Tess wanted to take on the head of the winning team, a rather buff looking dude, and challenge him to a Chug Off. Im pretty sure he laughed in her face then finally accepted the challenge! Head to head they went, and the did 3 rounds just to make sure the wins were legit. Thats right, Tess the Bride to be with the Giant Inflatable… beat him, hands down, 3 games in a row… how embarrassing buddy ;)

Savage Beagle

How low can you go? When we get to the third venue on the crawls Savage Beagle, we like to have a bit of  limbo fiesta! The Limbo stick came out and the next game was on, prizes were given away… who was gonna take the champion title as Whistler Club Crawls Limbo Champion?? It was time for some good dancing and drinking. Groups of you were playing your own games in the corner that i got to jump into, as well as jump out of when I realized how bad at them I was, but one look on the clock and it was already time to go!!

Thats a Wrap!

Ever wonder why its a club crawl… not a club walk? Just wait till its time to head to the last and final venue on the crawls!! Bit of a slow walk over, but we made it to Garfinkles all in one piece!! The last stop on the crawl at Whistlers number one night club, Garfinkles! You get in with no line no cover, waving at everyone else as you strolled in and got two complimentary drinks from the crawl for the rest of the night… This is where you guys are now on your own, and it is officially time for us to really let loose with you and get the rest of the night going!! Whistler Club Crawl- we will see you guys soon.

peace. Tash.

Thursday August 19th – Whistler Club Crawl!

Pretend these Stickers are Clothes Pins!!

We started the night out at Elephant and Castle, where we got you all to meet up with us, have some food and drinks, and get this night off to a start. We had a couple birthdays, a bachelorette and bachelor party, and then just a bunch of you partiers with us!! Once you were all signed in, I went around and explained a variation of the regular game that we play. See usually we have clothes pins that we sneak up to someone and pin them without them noticing. We were out of pins though so we tried to see how stickers would work instead, and I may say that you need little to know force to stick a sticker to a shirt. This lead to countless amounts of jugs, and empty glasses through out the night!!!

CB and Ping-Pong

Second stop on the party tour, Cinnamon Bear, where we got our large family style group. We entered a new game to the night, buffalo club, which with the sticker game got us all a little but more loose ;) Since we were  a bit smaller of a group we decided that we would get a Whistler Club Crawl version of ping pong going, with rather deformed balls, and completely impossible cups. You guys seemed to enjoy the game, and made quite the competition out of it.

GLC

Its been a while since the crawl got to party at GLC, and our small group made some big noise and brought the atmosphere all the way to the roof!! Everyone got i a got there drinks, while I sat at the bar waiting to see you pick up the glass with your right hand, and yell out a loud BUFFALO!!! Going around and seeing what you were all up to, I joined a game that a group of you were playing, making relations out of words. Such a fun game guys, thanks for teaching me, we will for sure play it on crawls in future. After a few drinks with that it was time to play the ever famous Flip Cup.

Flip Cup

You throw a party at your house when you were younger, and what do you do, BEG your parents to go out or stay out of the way or pretend that they dont exist! What happens if your going out to celebrate your moms birthday, and she wants to go on a club crawl? Do you show her your wild side? Well this week, mom showed her family her wild side and dominated the flip cup with her one attempt flips while her kids and husband were left in the dust behind her. So funny to see, and thats why the club crawl is good for people of all ages!!!

Reggae & Skate Jam

When we headed to the Savage Beagle, we were treated with a new local night there, Rolling Stones Thursdays, and got to jam out to some live reggae beats. Great music and an awesome vibe with everyone. Then it was off to the final spot on the crawl. Garfinkles!! We got there just in time to watch the tail end of the skate jam and kick off the night in good order!! I’m sure that Friday was a day of man stories, when i left it was later in the night, and most of you seemed, for better words, to be quite enjoying themselves. Hope you all had an epic time, and come and join us on another crawl sometime!!

Saturday August 14th- Whistler Club Crawl Crankworx Ender!!

BIGGEST CRAWL EVER!!

With over 280 people joining our party this Saturday, on the final night of Crankworx, and one of Whistlers biggest party nights!! We sold out for this night 2 days in advance!!! Heads up if you want to book tickets in advance for a crawl you can get them on the site HERE, cause that was one party you wouldnt have wanted to miss!!!

Here We Go!

Batteries- check! Megaphone- check! Redbull- Check! Okay… LETS DO THIS!!! We did things a little different getting you all signed in this week. Splitting in to two groups the first led by Evelyn with Flo, Quie, Pam, Adam leading the orange team to a night I’m sure wont be forgotten… unless some of you had a few to many, in which case it will be a night your always trying to remember!! I led the second group, with Tyler, Jay, Jory and Nickolisious!! After some drinks, and yummy chicken nachos… it was time to herd! Yes trying to gather 250 partiers with a buzz on to stand still and look at the photographer for 3 min is not an easy task! But it gone done and group one was on there way to Tommys, Group two chilled for 5 more minutes and then we were off to cause mayhem at Savage Beagle!!

Dance Dance Dance!

Limbo was on its way no more the 5 minutes after we were all in and drinks in hand at Savage Beagle… people were ready to get low….but it was so packed with you guys the Limbo lasted maybe 5 minutes till it turned in to just a huge mosh dance party!! Glasses were in the air everywhere clanging together, and ladies were looking damn sexy getting low !!

Tommy’s — Keep your Shirts on!!  ;)

I honestly have never seen a group pf crawlers more occupied by dancing…. usually teams are lined up ready to play in the flip cup championship…. this week was not the case. Everyone was crammed on the dance floor and getting into it. However we did get some rounds of flip cup in where a team went 6-0 taking the title as the Crankworx undefeated flip cup champions! Right after that I had no problem getting you all to the dance floor and start the dance off, pretty sure you guys had it going before I even got there…which makes you an awesome party crew, just remember guys… keep those shirts on :D

Yellow Team…Assemble!

Im sure by this point the details were getting blurry for the most of you, but after we left Tommys, we headed over to Garfinkles, the final venue on the crawl. We met up with the Orange team, and were 280 strong again, all of us headed into Garfs and through down one of the craziest nights of all time!!

Orange Team?

Thanks to everyone who came out, the crawl needs awesome people like you guys to be so, well, awesome!! If anyone is wondering why there is nothing on the orange teams adventures, its because I was only  on the Yellow, but feel free to comment and let us know how your night went!

alllright!

August 14, 2010 – Another CRANKWORX FESTIVAL CLUB CRAWL!

Crankworx Club Crawl

Who was not partying in Whister last sat !?

OMG! We  love mountain biking in this town! You should see how illy busy the village was!!! It was a total GONG SHOW! I never though we would get 280 people on a Club Crawl! We had to extend the crawl, normally we sold out after 150ish people! Yahoo!

Professional Partiers Brought in from Australia

I personlly have to thanks Pam and Adam for their big help! Those guys know how to promote a party ! They work in Surfers Paradise as promoteurs for Wicked Club Crawl. Seriously, in OZ, they they rock crawls of 400 peoples!!! Too bad for us, there is no club in Whistler that has this capacity!

The Crawl Begins

We started up at Elephant & Castle and for the first time, we reserved the entire pub and we filled it! I saw the cook in a mega rush, having for an order 80 platers of nachos.

Two Crawls at Once

Due to the capacity of certain venues, we had to split the group and inverse our route. That was a lot of logistical feats for the staff but it went really smooth. The Orange and Yellow team had each a stagette, so both dance off where pretty hot !

The Limbo comp and the flip cup tournament is always a succes ! Oh we love just love to get paid to party !

We showed up at the biggest night club in Whistler, Garfinkels, at 9 :30 and the line up was already forming. The doormen did an awesome job letting the crawl in rapidly!

Shout Out To The Bouncers!

Mike, Jeff, Ish, Owen kicked ass!

Special thanks to Flanny, Rob and Chad for their smoothness in this riot getting into Garfs!

Also, thanks to all the management, Bonnie and Evan at Elephant and Castle. Jeff and Anth at Tommy’s, Lewie at Savage and Jason, Dom and Hoff at Garf’s. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Something Kind Of Nasty After The Crawl

Finally I got to tell this story;

In the ski industry, we got this routine to make people drink his beer out of their ski boot, if you spill your drink. Sometimes it can get messy cause you have to filter your beer through the ski sock before poring it in your ski boot. Ew!

So Jory, a ski bum working as the photographer for us, knows this rule. Well this Irish guy will remember it because he had to do it! See the photos.

BAM ! So funny!

I love ski bums!

I love Whistler!

Ready for another Crawl!?

Join us on Thursday and Saturday!

Take care,

Evelyne xox

August 7, 2010 – Who’s The Sexiest Stagette At Crankworx?

Whistler Club Crawl

En Francais?
Can I do this blog in French!? Oh yeah… Right after !

An other crazy week end in Whistler!

The Kokanee Crankworx Mountain Bike Festival brings a lot of people. It was pretty easy to sell out this week, everybody was CRANKED to party!

Same venues this Saturday again, we just love this itinerary! Elephant & Castle, Tommy Africa’s, Savage Beagle and Garfinkels, BAM! Only the best!

We Love Stagettes!

Its totally the season for the stagette parties. Again, we had two stagettes aboard in this massive group of 180 crawlers. I have to mention the glam of this group of chicks all in black wearing a red flower. How sexy/fancy was the bride with her pockmarked and cherry suit ?! BIG UP FOR YOU LADIES ! In a year of operation, I’ll say that it was the most original costume for a bride we’ve seen on the crawl. For some reasons, brides always showed up with necklaces of penises and straws with penises. This is an other style… We dig it!

Families!

This crawl was important for me, my mom was part of it! I had to impress her with the way we party professionally. She really likes it and nobody hit on her… Its was my biggest concern! That was funny to see her dancing at Tommy Africa’s. At some point I was scared she was going to go on the pole. But no, she didn’t. I think she didn’t know how to dance on BOOM BOOM POW !!??

Once again the dance off, the flip cup tournament and the limbo was a lot of laughs and fun! When was the time to go to the last venue, god I had some action! 180 peoples + beer effect (less than 500 m to walk between the 2 last bars) = crazy mission! Being sober helped me a lot to complete this task! Thank GOD!

Jamming Up Garfs!

Once we all showed up at Garfs, we created a massive line. It was already 100 people in line, but we managed to get everyone in super quick! Big ups to the bouncers, Rob, Alex, Flanny and Chad! It was a jungle ! The Coors Light Party was a massive event. At 23h, the bar was packed. Whistler village has such a great success with night life!

I Love it!

See you next time!

J’aime !

July 31, 2010 Another Sold Out Crawl

Pub Crawl Whistler Club Crawl

Can I See The Photos On Facebook?

Some people forget that a lot of the photos from the crawl are also on Facebook. If you want to tag some photos on Facebook, just click this link here and become a fan.

How Big Was The Crawl?

Oh yeah, the crawl was big, we had pretty much oversold the crawl by a few people. Luckily we didn’t overfill any of the clubs, but dang! We were close. It’s so fun rolling around with 170 people who’re all in the same party boat. So fun.

Why Are You Looking So Innocent?

I just don’t get it, bachelorette parties running around with angel halos around their heads, yet they have necklaces of penises and straws with penises on them and what-not. That’s not so innocent! Angels are supposed to be innocent. Whatever, the girls were killing it on the dance floor at Tommy’s and all through the rest of the night.

How Awesome Was The Dance Off!?!?

It’s soooo good to see people are really taking advantage of the stripper pole at Tommy’s. What do you expect when Flo is on the mic, busting drink tickets out to the first group of girls that makes it on the dance pole. Some girl comes up to me with this attitude and says in a stern voice; “that’s not a regulation stripper pole.” C’est la vie. I saw her dancing on it 20 minutes later though. Awesome.

Want To Come On A Crawl?

If you’re looking to come to Whistler we have some great hotel packages from $99.99 per person (you have to book well in advance). If you already have accommodation set, then you can pick up your tickets here.

What Was Your Favourite Part of the Night?

If you were on the crawl, I really want to hear about your experiences. Be sure to write something in the comments below?
